The décor is pared-back and calming: white walls, tile floors, wood accents, and just enough detail to feel considered but never cluttered.
The hotel’s 21 rooms are spread across three colonial-style buildings and framed by gardens. All rooms come with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, and an en-suite bathroom. There are no TVs, and that's entirely intentional. Here, the soundtrack is rustling palms and distant waves.

Stunning view, healthful focus with daily yoga, massage and good food, friendly staff - esp. Bartender, restaurant, yoga teacher and Massage Therapist were wonderful. The facility has a nice scale and was well maintained.

Villa Serena is a beautiful place, tastefully designed, with extraordinary sea, pool and garden views. Our room is quiet and spacious and has a large baloney overlooking the ocean. It is a perfect location for people who try to find an alternative to all-inclusive hotels. The Playa La Playita, 10 minute-walk from the hotel, is among the most beautiful beaches on the island. The hotel is also 7-10 minute-walk to the town Las Galeras, where one can find good restaurants and feel the vibrance of local life at night. I particularly enjoyed the free Yoga classes facing the ocean in the morning. Angelina, the Yoga teacher, is super amiable and helped us tremendously during our stay to communicate with the personnel (we don't speak Spanish). Overall, this has been a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend the hotel.

View was fantastic from a very large comfortable balcony. One recommendation would be additional seating on the balcony. Room was good, could use a bit of updating but its charming and had a very cozy comfortable feeling. Breakfast was simple but very nice and nothing lacking. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
